ABS Warehouse Management System

The ABS Warehouse Management System incorporates the features and capabilities of a full blown warehousing application and seamlessly integrates with your ABS ERP system. Functionality is RF (Radio Frequency) based. All WMS screens are configured for an RF terminal with 21character-wide and 16-line display.

ABS Finished Goods Physical Inventory

Major Functions of Finished Goods Physical Inventory include:

  • Provides the ability to freeze current inventory at the company/division warehouse level and allows the continuance of normal business activity during physical inventory.
  • Provides the ability of automatic ticket file creation of preprinted ticket forms or blank tickets printing.
  • Provides the option to inventory pack and holds using the pick slip as a ticket.
  • Ticket file maintenance provides full validation, ability to void or delete tickets, verify mode and an audit trail for each ticket.
  • Reporting includes missed ticket activity, variance reports at detail and summary levels, missing ticket number report, ticket audit log report, ticket file listing and a costed variance report.
  • The physical inventory update can be run at company/division warehouse levels. All actual inventory records are updates with variance amount. A WIP audit record is created and a report generated listing the variance and new inventory quantities.

 

ABS Pack-n-Scan

Major Functions of the Pack-n-Scan Module include:

  • Uses UPC Coding for scanning items or can use a case/interpack UCC Serial Number.
  • Scans against unpicked items that are on the order, but not on the pick ticket.
  • Based on back order flag in customer/order file program will automatically adjust order.
  • Program can relieve inventory as scan/pack process or wait for invoicing to occur.
  • Creates standard carton content label and UCC/128 Label. Uses Mark Magic to print labels. Can interface to other software on a customized basis.
  • Creates a hard copy "packing list" either at the carton level or the order level. Currently prints on an overlay, but can be pre-printed.
  • Customer traffic routing matrix interface (with maximum carton, weight and cubeage) for consolidating shipments and printing B.O.L..
  • Program generates transactions for EDI 856 (ASN).
  • Generates transactions for the auto-invoice process. Auto-Invoicing can be run in edit or update mode. Can perform group invoicing by P.O.#.
  • System has interfaces for UPS Maxiship and Fed-Ex. Powership Systems for uploading freight and incorporating them in the invoicing process.
  • Plate System: Customer defined unique or repetitive plate number at the pallet, case or inner pack level. Quantities in plate will be exploded when scanned.
  • Customer Barcode Cross Reference File and Maintenance. Reference and explode the quantities defined in the barcode cross reference.
  • Invoice Hold (Pack and Hold feature with release from Invoice Option).

 

ABS Raw Material Inventory

Major Functions of the Raw Material Inventory Module include:

  • On-line component inventory maintenance, including additions, changes, and deletions.
  • Component purchase order processing by delivery period, with delivery periods by exact date.
  • Component inventory valuation, including cash requirements of on-order components by delivery period.
  • Grouping of components by fabric classification to allow substitution of similar components.
  • Component inventory projections.
  • Standard cost for component.
  • Component classification into categories (piece goods, lining, trimmings, findings, shipping and supplies)
  • Component season, including both fashion selling seasons and perpetual component season for basic components.
  • Optional component year (perpetual).
  • Component price (and costing) may be adjusted at receipt of component purchase order.
  • Component inventory by warehouse and sub-warehouse locations allows physical inventory of components to be rapid and organized.
  • Optional component inventory by shade and piece number.
  • Actual cutting ticket units automatically reduce the on-hand balance of the components by the style bill-of-material requirements.
  • Style bill-of-material where used summary for component inventory shows the styles using the component.
