• Component inventory projections.
• Standard cost for component.
• Component classification into categories (piece goods, lining, trimmings, findings, shipping and supplies)
• Component season, including both fashion selling seasons and perpetual component season for basic components.
• Optional component year (perpetual).
• Component price (and costing) may be adjusted at receipt of component purchase order.
• Component inventory by warehouse and sub-warehouse locations allows physical inventory of components to be rapid and organized.
• Optional component inventory by shade and piece number.
• Actual cutting ticket units automatically reduce the on hand balance of the components by the style bill-of-material requirements.
• Style bill-of-material where used summary for component inventory shows the styles using the component.

Major Functions of the Forecasting Module include:

• Ability to enter sales forecasts based on available sales history.
• Three levels of forecasting and production planning: Style, Style/Color, and/or Style/Color/Dimension/Size.
• Forecasting sales periods based on booked and/or shipped dates.
• Monthly production planning capability based on inventory, planned and actual WIP versus forecasts or actual orders.
• Calculation of production necessary to achieve desired stock cover on a month to month basis.
• Interfaces with the order entry module which will in turn explode facilities for time phased material and capacity requirements.
• Ability to revise all production planning until desired outcome has been achieved.
